Client: PetHub
Service: Product strategy/UX Design/Creative Director
PetHub was a fun project, with great and passionate people. I came into the project early on, and just hit the ground running. The client was anxious to use Basalmic Mockups as the wireframing tool, so I quickly downloaded a copy so I could ramp up on the wireframes when we were ready.
I did a lot of research on what would resonate with pet owners, and pet lovers. I came up with the idea of creating "pet cards", where owners could upload all the data about their pet in one central location. That card would have both a public view that anyone could see, and a private view that only invited users (like pet providers) could see.
I also put together and facilated a focus group test where we talked through some of our feature ideas, and walked through some early wireframes.
I worked closely with the company owner, marketing interns, external development teams, and an external visual designer to get the beta version designed and developed.
